GLU Network Expands Global Ministry Training Initiative to Equip Church Leaders Across Africa

HOUSTON, Texas — GLU Network, the free creator-first streaming platform for faith and family content, is expanding its global ministry outreach through a collaborative training initiative designed to equip pastors and church leaders across Africa with biblical teaching, leadership development, and ongoing discipleship resources.

Working alongside Judea Harvest through the CityRise Global channel, GLU is helping deliver ministry training that extends beyond live conferences by providing pastors with continued access to trusted biblical teaching and educational resources through the GLU platform.

As part of the initiative, Senior Pastor Roger Patterson of CityRise Church is leading an effort to engage pastors from across the Houston area to record biblical teaching specifically designed for church leaders serving throughout Africa. These teachings will become part of an expanding digital library available through GLU, providing ongoing encouragement and practical ministry resources long after in-person training concludes.

GLU is also collaborating with Bible Project to make additional biblical resources available in multiple languages, helping remove language barriers and expand access to high-quality discipleship content for church leaders serving diverse communities.

"This initiative reflects the heart of why GLU exists," said Julie Stagner, Founder and CEO of GLU Network. "Streaming technology has the power to do far more than entertain. It allows us to connect trusted ministry leaders with pastors around the world, extending biblical teaching, leadership development, and encouragement to communities that might otherwise have limited access to these resources. We are honored to serve alongside organizations that are committed to strengthening the global Church."

Roger Patterson, Senior Pastor of CityRise Church and a member of GLU Network's Board of Directors, said the initiative demonstrates what is possible when churches work together for a greater Kingdom purpose.

The initiative reflects GLU Network's ongoing mission to distribute transformative content inspired by God's love while providing ministries, churches, educators, and creators with innovative ways to reach audiences around the world.

As the library continues to grow, GLU plans to expand multilingual ministry resources and deepen collaborations with churches and ministry partners committed to making trusted biblical content more accessible across the globe.
